A celebration of nature finding a way.

Nature is amazing. In a blink of an eye it takes over.  

This piece considers the importance of buddleia and ivy within the urban environment. Both have the ability to thrive in the most unusual places and provide multiple benefits for the local wildlife (including us). We LOVE the buddleia’s insane ability to thrive anywhere. The haze of purple you see above you on city rooftops, providing summer scent and colour. 

The sheer tenacity of ivy and its want to grow, cocooning the structures it takes over to create an environment that protects. Together they provide a year long food source for insects and birds. 

The beautiful rhythmic structure of the yurt echoes the rhythms in nature and becomes a trellis for our textile botanics to grow. A place to dwell.
